Kano–Maradi Railway

The Kano–Maradi railway line will link three Nigerian federal states – Kano, Jigawa and Katsina, and connect to Maradi in Niger. It includes a 108km branch line linking Kano and Dutse in Nigeria. The standard gauge line is designed for passenger express trains operating at a maximum speed of 160km/h and passenger local trains operating at a maximum speed of 120km/h.
Ningbo–Zhoushan Railway

The 77km Ningbo–Zhoushan high-speed railway project will connect the Zhoushan islands in Eastern China’s Zhejiang province with the mainland. The double-line railway is designed for trains travelling at up to 250km/h, reducing travel time between Ningbo and Zhoushan to 26 minutes, and between Hangzhou and Zhoushan to 77 minutes.
Livingston Avenue Bridge

Project type: Rail bridge replacement

Investment: $634.8m
The new Livingston Avenue bridge will be a movable, seven-span, vertical lift-type railway bridge. It will be constructed south of the current structure over the Hudson River, designed to meet the current standards for dimensions and speeds. Incorporated into the project is a separate shared-use path that will offer pedestrians and cyclists a new route over the Hudson River.
